CCLXI. KHACHATURIAN, Aram (1903-1978)
Although I usually prefer a live performance video, there is no out there who can capture the gritty magnificence of this piece like its dedicatee and its composer. The benefit of seeing the score (even when its unreadable) is appreciated, as Khachaturian's music is still under copyright (until 2029!) and therefore not obtainable at IMSLP.
