Mozart was 30, with barely five years of life remaining.

Surely he harked back to the days when he and his older sister Nannerl would play duets to entertain the royalty.

[21st century conjecture: it is said that Nannerl was an even greater talent than Wolfy ... but of course, she had to stay home and get married and do the dishes at some point.]

Instead of trying to cram the primo and secondo parts into these pages, I've provided a second alternative with an easily read scrolling score. I prefer watching living humans play this gorgeous music, but the devil is in the details -- as they say -- and they're all there in plain sight ...
