DLXVI. STRAVINSKY, Igor (1882-1971)
Originally a pedagogical work for piano four hands entitled Three Easy Pieces (1915). Stravinsky referred to this version as "popcorn."
Next came a transcription for cimbalom and cimbalom and small ensemble; then a version of the March for 12 instruments and the Waltz for seven.
Finally, Stravinsky made this version, adding the Galop.
