When Mozart died at the age of 35, the world was left with a treasure trove of indescribably beautiful music of all sorts -- mostly from the last 10 or 15 years of his life.

But as most people know, he was at it from a very early age.

This is Mozart's first opera -- or geistliches singspiel (sacred musical play) -- and was written at the age of 11.

At 2:23 he manages a nice modulation to the relative minor.
