CCLXIV. MOZART, Wolfgang Amadeus (1756-1791)
We've all been twelve, some more recently than others.
Two hundred and fifty-three years ago, a 12-year-old kid wrote this "short" Mass for a 40-hour vigil at the Kollegienkirche, Salzburg.

Missa brevis
Throughout, Mozart toggles back and forth between SATB soloists and the tutti choir. Much of the writing is both syncopated and chromatic, looking ahead to his mature period.
Kyrie
Or for easier reading. The kid knew his part-writing:
Gloria
Sanctus
Agnus Dei
and her sister, Doris.
